Holistic Health Consultation & Education
Health information can be overwhelming.
With traditional medical visits often limited by time, many people leave with unanswered questions and turn to the internet and social media to better understand their health. But more information doesn’t always mean better understanding.
That’s where personalized health education can help.
As a naturopathic health consultant, I provide the time and individualized attention to help you understand your health in context. Together, we can explore your health goals, lifestyle, existing health information, and the questions that matter most to you, turning complicated information into practical, understandable next steps.
My goal is to help you feel heard, informed, and prepared so you can have more productive conversations with your healthcare providers, ask better questions, and participate confidently in decisions about your health.
Meet your new guide.
Tyler Cooper, ND
Naturopathic Doctor · Health Educator · Wellness Consultant
My approach to health education is grounded in extensive medical training and years of clinical experience. I earned my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, completing a four-year doctoral program followed by a two-year accredited residency in naturopathic primary care.
Today, I continue to practice as a licensed naturopathic physician in Washington State, providing medical care via telehealth to Washington-based patients. I am physically based in Florida, where I founded Florida Health & Vitality to offer my experience in a different way—through personalized health education and wellness consulting.
My background includes primary care, metabolic and cardiovascular health, digestive health, endocrinology, nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and laboratory evaluation. Through Florida Health & Vitality, my role is not to diagnose or treat medical conditions or replace your healthcare provider. Instead, I help you better understand your health, make sense of complex health information, and become a more informed participant in your healthcare.

Naturopathic medicine is a distinct system of healthcare that emphasizes whole-person care, prevention, and addressing factors that contribute to health and disease. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) are trained in biomedical sciences and clinical diagnosis alongside nutrition, lifestyle medicine, botanical medicine, and other therapeutic approaches. The philosophy emphasizes understanding the interconnected aspects of health and supporting its foundations rather than viewing each body system in isolation. Naturopathic medicine is not currently licensed in Florida; Florida Health & Vitality provides health education and wellness consulting, not naturopathic medical care.

Health consulting is a personalized educational service designed to help you better understand health information, lifestyle factors, wellness options, and questions you may want to discuss with your healthcare team. The goal is to provide clarity, context, and education, not medical diagnosis or treatment.
-
Consultations may explore topics such as nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, digestive wellness, metabolic and cardiovascular health, healthy aging, supplements, and other foundational aspects of wellbeing. We can also discuss health information you're trying to better understand and help you prepare thoughtful questions for your healthcare providers.
-
You may bring existing health information to help provide context for the topics you'd like to understand. Any discussion is educational and does not constitute medical interpretation, diagnosis, or treatment. Decisions regarding testing and medical management should be made with your licensed healthcare provider.
-
No. You should maintain an ongoing relationship with appropriately licensed healthcare professionals for diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, testing, and medical decision-making. Health consulting is designed to complement that relationship by helping you become better informed and better prepared for those conversations.
